What if I enter the wrong pass code?
You will have three chances to enter a valid pass code. If you fail on your third attempt, you will hear, "Thank you for calling" and voicemail will disconnect.

Can I change the number of rings before a call rolls to voicemail?
The ring cycle (time elapsed until a call rolls to voicemail) is 23 seconds. The ring cycle cannot be changed. However, depending on the model of the phone you may be able to change the ringer type. This will affect the number of rings you will hear before an incoming call rolls to voicemail. See your user manual.

Can I use my PCS phone while a caller is leaving a message?
Yes. The caller will continue to leave a message while you use your PCS phone. You cannot talk to the caller leaving the message because they have been forwarded to your voicemail.

What will callers hear when they reach my voicemail box?
When setting up your voicemail, you will be asked to either record a personal greeting or select the standard greeting. If you record a personal greeting, that greeting will be played when callers reach your voicemail box. If not, a standard greeting will be played.

An example of a standard greeting is: "You have reached the voice mailbox of . . .(your PCS number). To leave a message please wait for the tone. You may then hang up or press # for more options".
