What is Call Forwarding?
Call Forwarding sends incoming calls to another phone number that you activate. This happens regardless if your PCS phone is turned on or off. However, your PCS phone will not ring when call forwarding is activated.

What are the charges for Call Forwarding?
Each forwarded call has a $.12 per minute charge. If calls are forwarded to a number outside of the customer's Local Calling Area, long distance rates and the call forwarding per minute charge will be applied. Call forwarding minutes do not apply to the customer bundles minutes.

How will Call Forwarding be displayed on my invoice?
Call forwarding will be named in the rate plan summary simply as call forwarding . . .Charges for this feature will appear in the call detail section with a call forwarding icon (CF).

How do I activate Call Forwarding?
Press *72; Type the 10-digit phone number of the phone you want your calls to forward to. Press "Talk" or "OK". There will be a tone to confirm that call forwarding is activated.

How do I de-activate Call Forwarding?
Press *720; Press "Talk" or "OK". A tone will confirm that call forwarding is deactivated.

Can I forward my phone to any number?
No. There are some limitations. The following numbers are not valid call forward-to numbers:

• International and seven digit number
• Additional charge numbers such as 900, 976, or like numbers
• Customer service numbers (*2, 611, etc)
• Directory Assistance numbers (411, 555-1212, etc)

How do I know Call Forwarding has been activated on my PCS phone?
There is no alert or notification to remind you that you have activated the call forwarding feature. Your phone will not ring when the call forwarding feature is activated. You may need to test for a delivery of incoming calls if you are in doubt.

Will voicemail pick up forwarded calls?
No. Once your calls have been forwarded to another number, your voicemail will not pick up calls if there is no answer. You must deactivate call forwarding for your voicemail to pick up missed calls.
